Hellooo! I recently purchased Save Rock and Roll from Fall Out Boy and this week I've been loving a track from it featuring Foxes called Just One Yesterday. Foxes voice blends perfectly with Fall Out Boy's style and she does not disappoint on this song. I have to say I'm not sure about the video... I think it's something to do with Pete throwing up a snake... Anyway back to the song! Whenever I listen to it, I can't help but tap my feet along to the drums and the rhythmic bass.
Foxes really shines in her solo, bringing her touch to the song but even when she's singing the backing vocals, she sounds amazing and compliments Patrick's deeper tones perfectly. Bringing in Foxes added another dimension to the song, rather than Patrick singing the whole thing himself. The piano that follows Foxes in the chorus also sounds pretty damn good and brings in higher tones to balance out the bass that is a heavy feature in this track.
